Systems Administrator (SharePoint/ Document & Content Management Systems)

The Document & Content Management Systems Administrator will deliver application enhancements, technical project support and day-to-day application and technical support for SharePoint Online, Veeva Vault, BOX.COM, MediaWiki and other document/content management solutions. They support, maintain, configure and manage SharePoint online and other document sharing platforms such as BOX (as well as support migration of documents from Documentum to SharePoint or other Document/content management solutions).

* Provide technical support on assigned projects and enhancements including configuration, set up of monitoring, technical environment set up.

* Collaborate with Solutions Leads, Project Teams on solution gap remediation and or improvements

* Provide technical support, configuration, troubleshooting and direct support to end users.

* Resolve helpdesk tickets for SharePoint and other applications as assigned.

* Set up and configure solutions for new SharePoint enhancements and or project requests, considering, data security, confidentiality, Personally Identifiable Information, etc.

* Engage directly with end users to clarify requirements, issues and propose solutions and alternatives.

* Develop monitoring or other scripts to maintain the environment to requirements and security standards.

* Test solutions prior to deployment.

* Provide technical support to new projects and enhancements for Veeva Vault,, SharePoint and other applications as assigned.

* Develop and maintain system development life-cycle documents as required.

* Bachelor's degree in technical area or equivalent experience.

* Strong knowledge of SharePoint and/or SharePoint Online.

* Strong knowledge of relational databases.

* Strong knowledge of industry practices, techniques, and standards.

* Strong familiarity with application specific processes related to data/document management, etc.

* Requires good communication skills both verbal and written including the ability to communicate technical information to business users in non-technical terms.

* Requires good problem-solving skills and analytical ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems/issues.

* To qualify, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States, and should not require, now or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa status.


* 3+ years of experience with SharePoint and/or SharePoint Online including systems administration, supporting end users, creating sites/sub sites and or other collaborative or document sharing platforms e.g, Veeva Vault, etc.

* Understanding of software validation (GxP) and 21 CFR Part 11 requirements.

* Understanding of Personally Identifiable Information and other industry security requirements.

* At least 2 years of working with scripting tools such as PowerShell or Python.

* Strongly prefer exposure to supporting QMS systems such as Veeva Vault or equivalent.

* Strongly prefer experience with document/content management solutions such as, Documentum, Veeva Vault, etc.

* Prefer experience with SolarWinds or other monitoring solutions.

* Exposure to MediWiki/PHP or other Wiki tools is nice to have.

* Exposure to Linux system administration is a plus.
