Construction Scheduler

Due to continued and expected growth, Flatiron is looking for a number of Construction Schedulers within our Southeast region. As a project scheduler, you will perform all planning and scheduling activities through independent evaluation, selection and application of corporate schedule systems, techniques and procedures. We currently have 15+ ongoing projects across the Southeast region, ranging from $20M bid build to $300M Design Build projects. We are continuing to aggressively pursue new work throughout the region.

Responsibilities:

* Interface with Operations, Owners, and Subcontractors to discuss impact of work and resolution of problems

* Contribute to the development of working schedules for Estimating, prior to proposal date, which sufficiently illustrate the sequence of work activities and contract time

* Prepare and issue proposal and preliminary schedule

* Incorporate Resource and/or Cost Loading data into schedules as required

* Serve as technical advisor for the solution of difficult production problems

* Consult the appropriate project team members and estimating procedures as a means of ensuring that proper planning is completed prior to the commencement of work

* Provide information as needed on the content, modification, or presentation of project schedule

* Identify scheduling software training needs among employees and provide training when necessary; remain current on the advancements in scheduling software

* Responsible for continuously expanding and updating professional knowledge and honing training skills in order to enhance individual and team innovation and productivity

* Understand all contract requirements relating to the project schedule

* Prepare schedule updates along with a narrative for submission to the owner

* Prepare time impact analysis for any owner caused delays

* Maintains knowledge of Flatiron's company values and strategic plan

* Support published corporate policies

* Perform additional assignments per management's direction

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree in a related field from an accredited institution and 3+ years related scheduling experience with a general contractor.

* Strong knowledge of Primavera P6
