DescriptionAs a growing joint venture, the evolution of our total rewards program is essential to the success of our organization to ensure we can attract and retain the best talent. As the Benefits Manager for Q2 Solutions, you will play a critical role in not only administering our benefit programs, but also helping to establish the strategic direction of our programs. This role will primarily focus on delivery excellence of our US benefit programs, including leaves of absence, 401(k), and social welfare programs. As the primary contact between employees, managers, HR partners, payroll, and our vendors, you will also be responsible for ensuring effective education and communication of our plans. You will lead the annual open enrollment process, drive 401(k) enrollment, and implement a robust wellness program.

Purpose

Support the continuous improvement of the employee benefits function through development and implementation for all employee benefit programs in the United States. With limited guidance, provide comprehensive support on various employee benefit plans to employees and management across assigned service areas, business units and departments. With some guidance, provide expertise, support and consultation on employee benefit matters either locally, regionally, or globally. Stay abreast of industry developments to ensure a competitive position in employee benefits. Implement recommendations for new or modified benefit plans, and manage the administration of existing plans.

Responsibilities

* Develop strong and effective team relationships with HR specialist functions/Centers of Excellence, e.g., HRPSC, Finance PSC.

* Provide input to the employee benefits budget and manage expenses within budget allocations.

* Lead the annual employee benefits open enrollment process and assist with employee meetings/seminars for local and regional employees. With guidance, counsel management and employees on existing employee benefits. Provide support to HR Business Partners and line managers through the process.

* Handle inquiries from employees and line management regarding employee benefit programs and policies, and resolve any employee benefits related matters involving employee benefit eligibility, leave plans, etc. Maintain contact in person, and by telephone or email, with hospitals, physicians, insurance carriers, and management.

* Manage and administer existing employee benefit plans and policies within and across the business

* Assist with conducting ad hoc reviews and reporting, as directed, and propose recommendations in dealing with legislative leave requirements and, with guidance, provide support and education to employees, line management and HR team.

* Participate in the preparation of announcement material, booklets, and other media for communicating new plans to employees.

* Provide vendor management support for employee benefit plans, as assigned.

* Assist with the preparation of reports and applications required by law to be filed with local and regional regulatory agencies. Provide reports and analysis as requested by senior management.

* Participate in determining innovative and scalable solutions that impact global programs.

* Assure that existing and new benefit programs are adaptable to standardized computer and reporting systems.

* Assist with developing employee benefits information and statistical and census data for actuaries, insurance carriers, and management.

* Maintain enrollment, application, and claims records for all employee benefit plans.

* Keep current with regional and local benefits laws and regulations in order to ensure company compliance.

* Provide advice, guidance and direct support on all aspects related to people management to senior management.

Job Requirements MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

* Bachelor's degree required or education equivalent and 5 years or more of experience in employee benefits or combination of employee benefits and specialist experience and experience operating with senior/executive management teams; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience

* Professional employee benefits accreditation

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

* Extensive use of telephone and face-to-face communication requiring accurate perception of speech

* Extensive use of keyboard requiring repetitive motion of fingers

* Regular sitting for extended periods of time

* Occasional travel
