We are hiring for :

Role: Perl, Python, Unix Developer
Location: Montreal, QC
Duration: Fulltime
No Of Position: 1

Position Description
  •          The candidate must have solid Unix/Linux experience, Perl/Python, and DB2, as well as SDLC experience.
  •          Knowledge of email standards and mail servers, including email archiving, is preferred.
  •           It is essential to have excellent written and verbal communication skills, in addition to good planning, analytical and organizational skills.
  •          As our team deals deal with regulatory and legal requirements, any experience in delivering changes with high precision is greatly desired.
 
Required Skills:
  •          Minimum 5 years of application development experience
  •          3+ years of experience in Perl/Python in UNIX environment
  •          Experience in SQL / Stored Procedures with an RDBMS, preferably DB2 and SQL Server
  •          Experience in writing UNIX Shell Scripts using commands like awk, sed, and Perl to automate system admin jobs
  •          Knowledge of object-oriented principles and data structure
  •          Experience working on projects using Agile development methodologies Preferred skills:
  •          Experience using source code control (Git, Stash, perforce or CVS) in a team environment
  •          Knowledge of email standards and mail servers, including SMTP, MIME, LDAP, Sentrion/Sendmail etc.
  •          Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
