You will serve as a Supervisory Human Resources Specialist (Classification/Recruitment) in the Administration & Resources Management Division of HQ US MARINE CORPS.

* Supervise a staff of entry level/developmental to journey level Workforce Planning Advisors and personally providing difficult management advisory services to a variety of managerial and supervisory levels within serviced Commands.

* Resolve difficult issues and problems requiring consideration of the total human resources program.

* Collaborate with other HROM functional areas to provide a whollistic approach to resolving issues which require a cross-functional solution.

* On site advisory services to managers and supervisory include: effective and efficient structuring and/or restructuring of their organizations and individual positions based on new/changed missions.

* Assist organizations in developing an effective short and long range staffing plan to meet their current and future workforce needs and enable them to maintain a steady-state workforce.

* Assist in developing and implementing standardized WFP business processes to inlude defining and mapping processes and developing procedures and guides.

* Ensure required case files and documents are maintained in accordance with established rules and guidance.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying recruitment and placement laws, regulations, policies, and practices to solve recruitment and placement issues; collaborating with management officials to write and review position descriptions; providing advice to managers and personnel on the hiring process; and assessing organizational HR needs regarding succession planning and recruitment.
