Job Description

Teach Spanish Language courses: SPAN 1013 and SPAN 1023, hold office hours and perform other duties as assigned.


* Teach Spanish courses.

* Hold office hours.

* Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:

* Masters in Spanish or allied field.

* One year teaching college level Spanish or allied field.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

* Teaching and knowledge in Spanish Linguistics , Language Acquisition, Rhetoric, Composition, Humanities and allied fields.

Preferred Education and Experience:

* M.A. or M.F.A. in Spanish

* Ph.D. in Spanish, but will consider candidates who are working towards a Ph.D. or are A.B.D. in Spanish.

* 1-3 years of college or university teaching.
