Position Title:Operations Associate 1

Duties & Responsibilities:

* Pick up mail daily from Post Office

* Process incoming and outgoing mail (USPS, Fedex/UPS and Email)

* Coordinate shipping through UPS and FedEx

* Answer customer service line and greet walk-in clientele

* Scan, FAX and copy documents

* Electronic and hardcopy filing and organizing of various materials

* Schedule maintenance of office equipment

* Enter and look up information in databases

* Compile any missing information from documents received

* Track and report on various documents

* Correspondence to providers and/or members via Word and/or Email

* Update documents

* Create template documents

* Generate reports

* Proactively communicate with management regarding workload/questions

* Meet specific performance metrics

* Assist with other duties as assigned

Required Skills:

* Ability to multi-task

* Keen attention to detail

* Ability to take initiative, prioritize tasks and manage workflow to meet deadlines

* Ability to maintain a record keeping and follow-up system

* Possess excellent oral and written communications skills

* Be familiar with standard office equipment including computers, printers, scanners, copiers, fax machines and telephones

* Be proficient in Word Processing and Excel spreadsheets

* Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines

* Must recognize and maintain the confidentiality of all materials in the work setting

* Ability to interpret, comprehend and follow policies and plan provisions

* Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

* Excellent oral and written communication skills

* Strong problem solving and analytical skills

* Demonstrated typing skills and accuracy rate

* Ability to work autonomously and within a team



High School Diploma Required, Associates Degree preferred


Experience in an office setting


Office Setting, Ability to lift 20 pounds
