L.L.Bean is seeking a Project Specialist for our Customer Satisfaction Division based in Portland, ME. In this role you would be responsible for assisting the department with coordination of various projects and initiatives, leading various customer facing communication tasks, create summary reports and supporting documentation, develop recommendations for service improvements, and providing project status updates.


* Assist department leadership with coordination of projects and initiatives.

* Assist in project coordination within department and with appropriate cross functional teams; manage partnerships with cross functional teams in support of projects and initiatives

* Assist with project management, including:

* Working collaboratively with department resources to gather data related to projects

* Facilitating and/or attending meetings, and providing follow-ups as appropriate

* Developing recommendations to share in key department forums

* Preparing summaries and supporting documentation for key forums and meetings

* Providing project status updates in key forums

* Identifying cost implications of process change and working with Finance to develop detailed cost implication

* Identify process improvement opportunities and act as a change agent to facilitate action.

* Serve as subject matter expert for tools and platforms used to support customer outreach and communication. Develop customized reports for end users.

* Coordinate and lead the tactical execution of customer response and outreach activities related to customer product reviews. Identify product trend information, develop summary reports and recommendations for action. Serve as key liaison to product merchants and areas in support of customer advocacy.

* Strong problem-solving skills - multi-solution approach.

* Project planning experience - ability to break large tasks down to smaller tracks of work and manage project timelines.

* Analytical skills - familiarity with cost benefit analysis.

* Communication skills - strong written and verbal skills. Ability to communicate effectively to varied audiences.

* Experience with MS Office software including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Education Level - Bachelors Degree

Experience Level - 1 to 2 years of experience
