Berlin City Toyota of Portland Maine has an outstanding opportunity for a results-focused, highly-driven and experienced Internet Sales Associate (ISA). Candidate will have the opportunity to engage hundreds of customers to assist in their vehicle purchase. The ISA is responsible for responding to internet leads via email, phone and face-to-face communication. This position requires high-volume lead handling, including email and phone communications, good qualifying ability, and consultative selling skills to generate new clients and maintain existing customer base. Sales opportunities will be primarily cultivated through internet leads, but ISA will also have access to incoming phone and walk-in sales opportunities. The goal is to establish customer loyalty throughout the vehicle-buying experience.

Expected Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

* Demonstrated phone-based selling skills required along with superior customer service skills

* Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, superior time management skills, and ability to work with minimal supervision are essential

* Superior oral and written communications skills are required (grammar, spelling and professional presentation)

* Ability to work with computer applications including but not limited to email, web applications, and MS Office products such as Word, Excel and Internet Explorer

Job Responsibilities

* Execute dealerships defined sales and follow-up standards and processes

* Accountable for departmental performance standards; Customer Service Index, Gross Average, and vehicles sold

* Maintain proper product knowledge and continue improving skill set through group and self-led training.

* Completes all aspects of the sales process including delivery of the vehicles

* Perform daily walk-through of vehicle inventory to become familiar with in-stock vehicles

* Respond to incoming new and pre-owned vehicle requests via email, telephone and face-to-face communications using defined email templates and telephone talk tracks

* Execute dealerships pricing strategy when responding to all leads

* Set appointments with customers while maintaining targeted performance standards

* Perform daily follow-up with all prospects to increase customer appointments and shows

* Demonstrate new and pre-owned vehicles to customers through walk-around presentations and demonstration drives with the ability to answer all the customers questions

* Negotiate price and purchase agreement with the customer with high customer satisfaction

* Deliver sold vehicles according to defined delivery process with high customer satisfaction

* Record all sales activity in dealerships Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system

* Perform additional job related duties as requested by dealership management
