Primary Purpose

The selected candidate will assist with daily operations for the Athletic Department's athletic training facilities, and provide comprehensive health care for student-athletes in 13 NCAA Division I sports (FCS football) participating in the Big Sky Conference.

Key Responsibilities

1. Evaluation, care and treatment of injuries and illnesses sustained by the student-athlete.

2. Management of the complete rehabilitation of injury.

3. Support and assist the strength and conditioning coaches and sport coaches in the prevention of injury through strengthening, conditioning, flexibility, nutrition, etc. for the individual athlete.

4. Appropriate referrals to other health care providers while working closely with and under the supervision of team physicians to provide optimal medical care.

5. Maintain detailed recordkeeping and documentation, while protecting the confidentiality of the student-athletes medical history, injuries and conditions.

6. Daily coverage and preparation for all assigned sport practices and event coverage both at home and away.

7. Daily upkeep and maintenance of athletic training equipment and facilities.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree, NATABOC Certification, Idaho State Licensure or eligible, and Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's Degree, and two (2) years experience working with collegiate or professional athletes.

Salary has been approved at $38,000 annually, commensurate with education and experience. Includes a competitive benefits package.
