Job Description

Lead all aspects of a manufacturing execution in a semiconductor-like fab operation running in a Clean Room 100 environment at a 7x24 schedule. Functions reporting to this position include production supervisors, equipment maintenance techs, and operations techs. The position is located in Plantation, Florida.

He/she is a mature leader with 15+ years of demonstrated experience in class 100 clean room operations or semiconductor / wafer fabrication facility. Highly motivating, energetic, and committed to continuous improvements (real examples of all required).

He / She is highly motivated to re-invent manufacturing through empowerment and out of the box thinking. This is individual is not happy simply delivering on but is continuously driving to exceed in all targets.

Responsibilities:

* Safety. Ensuring compliance but more importantly driving to a culture of safety in the organization

* Quality: achieve or exceed process quality targets (process yield, delivered quality, scrap, and cost of quality)

* Cost. Inventory level and cost targets achievement by managing capital and expense budgets

* Production schedule attainment (product delivery) at an efficient rate

* Develop his/her organization to be an awesome differently manufacturing team: one that exceeds all strategic and tactical objectives

* Physical Requirements: most of the work is performed in an office environment, however, the candidate must be able to be comfortable knowing and working under a Class Room 100 protocol.

Qualifications:

* 15+ years of experience in process, support engineering, and operations/plant management

* Demonstrated experience in ramping up operations ideally bringing new technology to production (vs. ramping up a mature manufacturing process)

* Passionate to drive of all aspects of operations management: team development, capacity, lean manufacturing / continuous improvement, production scheduling, etc.

* Desired experience: safety systems, HVAC, photolithography, etch, diffusion, deposition, and semiconductor metrology, DI water, gases, and chemicals

* Must be comfortable with ERP system (SAP preferred)

* Must be familiar with cost management process in a manufacturing operation

* Problem solving: solving issues in a semiconductor manufacturing operation, Six Sigma with strong project management exposure and ability to go down to details

* Ability to manage & complete multiple projects simultaneously

* Understand and embrace what it takes to support a 7x24 successful facility that exceeds performance

Education:
