Analyst IT Business Analysis

The Business Analyst will primarily spend time working directly with clients, vendors, and The Hartford account management and developers to develop and support outbound data file feeds that support the clients/vendors with reporting and compliance requirements. The Business Analyst will support technical inquires related to the data represented on the outbound data file feeds. The Business Analyst will provide support for ongoing maintenance and also requested/required enhancements to fulfill delivery of the outbound data file feeds. From time to time the Business Analyst will be responsible to develop, support, or enhance technical tools utilized in facilitating aspects of the department's day to day delivery for outbound data file feeds.

The Business Analyst supports client needs for the outbound data file development and transmissions in order to meet reporting and compliance requirements. Provide technical support for outbound data file feeds, data inquires and designated tools. Must possess sound knowledge of structured IT application development lifecycles, methodologies inclusive of Use Case tools. Ability to successfully interact with members, medical professionals and health plan and government representatives. Experience with SQL, experience Data Mining and Researching Data, and Requirement Writing.

1-3 year experience Long Term Disability/Short Term Disability Claim processing and reporting experience

1-3 years Database/Microsoft Access experience

1-3 years of Power BI experience

1-3 year Information Management/Data acquisition, data management, programming and documentation

Experience with SQL, experience Data Mining and Researching Data, and Requirement Writing

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Proven business partner consulting ability
