Tyler Technologies is seeking an organized Trade Show Team Lead to join our events marketing team. The Trade Show Team Lead is responsible for managing the software, trade show assets, vendor relationships, and policies and procedures that provide consistency to the trade show team. This position will include a managing role with the division-based trade show coordinator. This position is also responsible for managing all Tyler corporate trade shows and exhibits to achieve sales and lead generation goals, including working with the corporate and division sales and marketing organizations, gathering and tracking leads, and managing trade show traffic. The Trade Show Team Lead will organize and coordinate the logistics of all trade shows attended by Tyler sales staff, including registration and attendee tracking, shipping presentation and materials support, on-site exhibit support and pre- and post-event evaluations.

Responsibilities

* Manage the master trade show list by working with each division marketing lead on their specific shows for the upcoming calendar year. Identify which shows are "Tyler corporate" shows, where we are promoting Tyler to a diverse audience of attendees.

* Develop and manage lead generation processes for tradeshows, including the ability to track prospect and current customers' interest in solutions/products, post-show follow-up actions, and synching with Dynamics CRM tool.

* Hire, train, manage and motivate a trade show assistant.

* Ensure that trade show management software and tools adequately support the needs of the organization

* Evaluate current shipping methods and expense structures to determine the most efficient methods

* Oversee the tracking/maintaining of data (registrations, fees, sponsorships, and itemized expenses by type and by show) for every Tyler show.

* Maintain/Manage the external trade show display vendor relationship.

* Oversee the procurement of new trade show equipment.

* Ensure corporate trade shows stay on-budget; any overages should be first approved by the division marketing lead.

* Provide assistance for large, national shows, which may require coordination with the events team, sales, division marketing leads, etc.

* This position is also responsible for approving the design, layout, cost estimates, and construction of exhibits and trade show displays, as well as the overall management of all administrative aspects of trade show registrations, sponsorships, giveaways, promotions, etc.

* Assist with the hiring of division-based trade show coordinators

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a related field or comparable work experience

* Typically requires 6-8 years of business experience managing multiple trade shows in a corporate environment

* Technology industry experience strongly preferred

* Excellent communication and organization/project management skills

* Experience in a leadership or management role a plus

* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other software applications, such as trade show management software

* A positive attitude with a desire to go above and beyond expectations is key to the success of this role
