Altair Global is searching for a Relocation Consultant So what does that boil down to?

The Relocation Consultant is responsible for ensuring a positive relocation experience for home sale program transferees by managing the day-to-day administration of our clients' relocation program. Activities include coordinating, approving, and managing service deliverables; managing communication between and with transferees, Altair colleagues, service partners, and clients; managing benefits, service costs, and expenses; and accurately maintaining transferee files and data.

This job is all about:

Provide a positive relocation experience to/for each transferee; is responsible for a large volume caseload

* Learn and understand designated client's assignment relocation programs including all policies, processes and practices; clients with multiple policies and complex services offerings i.e., full non home sale and capped programs which include development and management of budgets

* Communicate changes and modifications with client programs to Operations Managers and all Altair colleagues following established procedures; document in appropriate Altair information systems as required

* Communicate the relocation road map, providing a comprehensive explanation of the relocation process, policies and practices to the transferee

* May communicate directly with client on a regular basis

* Serve as primary point of responsibility and coordination between service partners and transferee; includes but not limited to real estate and related industries, transportation and storage companies, lodging and rental car companies and any other non-routine service partner(s) as required by a particular situation

* Manage all data pertinent to each transferee's relocation file; document all relocation activities and transactions in the appropriate Altair information system

* Manage costs and expenses connected to relocation deliverables, maximizing the full intent of the benefit while minimizing expenses and costs; demonstrate ability to develop and manage budgets and capped programs

* Understand and manage Consultant reports, demonstrate ability to analyze/interpret client/transferee reports and to mentor others on all aspects of reporting

* Able to successfully mentor other consultants on various topics; resource to associates

* Direct day to day activities for assigned Associate(s) as appropriate

Qualifications

* Minimum 3 years' experience as a relocation consultant or other relative experience

* Real estate license and CRP designation strongly preferred

* Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of domestic relocation particularly home sale policies;

* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, Word, and Excel and databases; knowledge of additional software packages is preferred; proficient with internal databases

* Able to confidently communicate/interface at multiple levels with transferees, clients and service partners

* Adept at interpreting, applying and communicating complex policies and service offerings

* Excellent negotiating and persuasion skills

* Calm under pressure; well-developed conflict management and consensus building skills

* Deadline and time sensitive

* Able to self-direct and self-manage

* Expense and budget sensitive

* Able to make effective difficult business decisions based on factual information using good logic and common sense

Bonus Points If

* You have experience working in the relocation industry.

* You hold a real estate license and/or the Worldwide ERCĀ® CRP designation (strongly preferred).
