The Digital Presales Organization

Digital Presales consulting is where we talk with technology enthusiasts around the world, understand the problems they face in day to day life and solve those challenges using CA's out of the box software capabilities.

As a Digital Presales Consultant, you will help organizations rewrite their businesses through software by:

* Articulate the business and technical value proposition and key differentiating capabilities to prospective new customers and partners

* Identify market and product requirements based on field experience and customer input

* Demonstrate products to technical and non-technical audiences, at technical staff and/or executive levels, in both pre- and post-sale settings

* Execute demos with customizations to showcase product functionality and benefits within identified solution sets that support client's technical and functional requirements

* Prepare and present technical proposals

* Collaborate with sales representatives to ensure all aspects of the sale are aligned

* Provide product/technical responses in support of RFP's and other tenders

* Execute product Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) to address the customer's specific requirements and environment

* Ensure an optimal customer evaluation experience

* Manage appropriate customer expectations throughout the opportunity lifecycle

* Participate in conferences, shows, exhibitions when appropriate and requested

* Disseminate feedback to business units gained from client experiences and issues to facilitate product improvements or enhancements

* Assist with the technical enablement of CA partners

* Participate in internal projects that improve the value of Presales overall, e.g.: publish technical solutions, create or maintain common demo sets, etc.

How You'll Stand Out

How You'll Stand Out

* 2+ Year(s) of Experience in consulting, sales engineering, or software testing and data prep

* Have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science

* Possess working knowledge of common operating systems (Linux, Windows, et) and cloud environments(AWS/Azure)

* experience and exposure to various SQL and non SQL DBMS tools, such as Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, NoSql and ORACLE

* Experience building and running various complex queries

* Experience with Data Modeling. Database design, schema creation, and creating/maintaining stored procedures,

* Have working knowledge of common development languages (C++, Java, .NET, PHP, Python, Ruby, Perl, SQL, etc.)

* Have experience working with common quality assurance methodologies

* Have experience working with common quality assurance automation tools or languages (JavaScript, JMX, Selenium, JMeter, etc.)

* Experience with Microsoft Office tools including Exchange, Word, PowerPoint and Excel

* Have excellent communication skills; ability to clearly articulate CA's offerings

Understand IT areas such as:

* Understand the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and different approaches companies take

* Virtualization technology

* Cloud technologies

* Networking

* Application development, release management, software testing, and data management
