How you will contribute to LifeNet Health’s success:
Supervisor, Support Logistics, you would supervise all inventory control activities to ensure accurate inventory transactions. You would be responsible for ensuring Quality Inspection testing meets regulatory requirements and delivery of materials to production and/or internal customers are timely. In addition, you would train personnel, set performance goals, organize & assign work to maintain a productive work environment.
Important:You will be required to sit, stand, bend, walk and lift up to 50 lbs. for the duration of the shift; as well as be exposed to humidity, cold, heat and noise vibrations. You also will be exposed to infectious or hazardous materials.
What you’ll do:
LEADERSHIP: Manage the day-to-day operations of all supplies inventory, unprocessed donor inventory and general support services function. Manage the inventory of materials by applying fundamental inventory control techniques, monitoring stock levels and stock locations and coordinating required adjustments with purchasing and/or production.
INVENTORY: Ensure that the receipts, quality inspections and issuance of supplies and unprocessed donors are performed properly and comply with regulatory standards and implements changes as necessary. Monitor, analyze and evaluate inventory management data by reviewing routine inventory reports including excess and idle stock, inventory turnover, customer service usage, safety stock reports and inventory capacity/forecasts then recommending actions to maximize inventory efficiency and materials availability.
SUPPORT SERVICES: Ensure timely delivery of interdepartmental mail and supplies and receive and distribute frozen tissue and other non-inventory items accurately and in a timely manner. Oversee and ensure handling and disposal of biohazardous waste is performed in accordance with established procedures.Receive, store, and distribute hazardous chemicals accurately in a timely manner and maintains Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and policies. Oversee and ensure the safe operation/s of assigned trucks, vans, forklifts, pallet jacks and other equipment for the storage and transportation of supplies and equipment in the warehouse and between other LifeNet Health locations.
PROCESS IMPROVEMENT: Establish procedure for inventory control, quality inspection and warehousing operations to promote efficiency, quality and productive processes. Recommend improvements to the inventory processes by identifying critical path problem areas, communicate and coordinate corrective actions with purchasing, production and management.
What you’ll bring (Minimum Requirements):
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid State Driver’s License
- 6 years warehousing, storeroom or inventory experience
- 2 years supervisory experience
- 2 years quality control experience in receiving inspection
- 2 years inventory database experience

- Forklift certification
- Able to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Able to convey information verbally and in writing
- Able to prioritize multiple, competing priorities and manage time/workload
