What You'll Do:

* Work with stakeholders to generate requirements for autonomous driving vehicles

* Manage the progress of prototype development projects

* Coordinate development and testing activities across engineering groups

* Develop system architectures and generate electrical and mechanical systems drawings with engineering team

* Work with other engineering teams to develop hardware and software requirements

* Present system architecture and work with customers to meet their requirements

What You'll Bring:

* Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems engineering

* Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and software technologies

* 5+ years' experience in mechatronics system development with a focus on systems designed for safety and high availability

* Experience with electronic system design, implementation and testing

* Knowledge of automotive sensors such as Radar, Lidar, and Cameras

* Experience with advanced GNSS systems

* Ability to quickly and creatively solve problems, independently and in teams, while maintaining quality work

* Strong problem solving skills

* Good verbal and written communication skills

* Self-motivated, organized, flexible, and able to balance and prioritize multiple diverse projects

* Knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash and Python

* Familiar with Microsoft Office and project management tools

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience working with highly automated vehicles

* Experience with high performance compute and network systems

* Experience with system development in a regulatory environment

* Lab equipment experience with power supplies, oscilloscopes function generators and multimeters is a plus

* Knowledge of common vehicle electrical and networking systems (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, etc) is a plus

* Knowledge of modern rapid-prototyping methods and their application suitability (3D printing/scanning, CNC machining, etc)

* Interest in next-generation vehicle technologies, including infotainment, connectivity, and automated/autonomous vehicles is a plus

* Experience with hands-on vehicle integration, including wiring harnesses and packaging is a plus
