Responsible for the strategy development and PD business results for a group of categories in the portfolio. Owns the customer facing communications and collaborates with partners in Product Development to execute exciting new products that differentiate our business. Interacts with Merchants, Industrial Design, 3rd party and internal research teams, Legal, Planning and Allocation, Visual Merchandising and E-com to achieve company goals.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

* Sets the vision and strategy for assigned group of categories to drive business results forward. Responsible for delivering key financial results ( Sales / Margin / Turn ) and other operational metrics with key internal business partners.

* Is a catalyst for new product creation and is in touch with the competitive marketplace and taking trends and turning them into platforms for growth. Works with internal and external resources to understand the customer and their needs.

* Leads the product creation process for assigned categories and responsible for the planning calendar and content to run successful Milestone meetings. Ensures that all line plans, time & action calendar information is provided to appropriate departments/individuals in a timely manner. Collaborates with ID, Buyers, Visual Merchandising, Marketing, E-com, Legal, Brand Management and Graphic Design.

* Responsible for the hiring, training and development of associates on their team
