Specimen Accessioning/Data Entry - Night Shift

Prepares laboratory specimens for designated departments/locations prior to laboratory analysis and testing. Unpacks specimens from branches or ports and routes specimens by type to various staging areas. Prepares all specimens received for testing in designated laboratory departments or locations such as staging of specimens, centrifuge, separate serum, and blood smears. Aliquots sample for departments. Prepares excess specimen samples for storage and resolves and document problem specimens. Candidates with Asscociate's/Bachelor's in Science degrees may be eligible to participate in a career path program to become Technician/Technologist.

Requirements

* License/Certification/Education: Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent w/1-2 years of experience.

* Ability to pass a color blind test

* Good data entry skills

* Able to stand for long hours

* Candidates with Associate's/Bachelor's in Science degrees may be eligible to participate in a LabCorp career path program to become a Technician/Technologist

Shift3

ScheduleMonday through Friday, 8:00pm - 4:45am (with overtime as business needs require) and monthly rotational Saturday and/or Sundays.
