Job Summary Registered Nurse ICU Full Time DaysProvides professional nursing care within an assigned unit.Coordinates care planning with other disciplines. Position rendersindividualized, age specific and direct bedside nursing care based on thenursing process and patient needs. Acts as a supervisor by assessing, planning,delegating and utilizing independent judgement in directing other healthcareemployees for the provision of patient care. Systematically evaluates thequality and effectiveness of nursing practice to identify patient goals.Participates in hourly rounding. Observes safety guidelines and safe workpractices. May at times be asked to be in charge for a shift(s). Supervisesother members of Healthcare team.
Special Skills: Effective interpersonal skills and abilityto work with team members required. Must be able to work in a fast-pacedenvironment with occasional periods of above average pressure. Excellentcustomer service skills. Must have basic computer skills.
Strongly preferredexperience in ICU /ED/ or 2 years min TELE in an acute care setting.

Nursing Degree from anaccredited nursing school. License to practice as a Registered Nurse in theState of Arizona. BSN preferred.
Preferred Experience: Prefer 1 years of acute care experience inspecialty area of practice.
CPR and ACLS as applicable by Facility/Department. ER, ICU, Endoscopy, Tele, Cardiac Cath Lab,L&D: ACLS required upon orientation completion.
