Recruiting Coordinator Job Description

Iron Mountain is seeking a Recruitment Coordinator to join our Talent Acquisition Team! The Recruitment Coordinator is an integral member of the Talent Acquisition team and provides support and partnership throughout the recruitment process. He or she will be responsible for a positive candidate experience and closely interact with hiring managers, recruiters, and candidates to deliver an exceptional recruitment experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Support and partner with recruiters, hiring managers and candidates throughout the recruitment process
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews ensuring a positive experience for all parties involved
  • Accountable for tracking completion of pre-employment for candidates and support onboarding processes for new hires
  • Assist in sourcing, initial screening of applicants and recruitment activities when needed
  • Support with miscellaneous projects related to recruitment, employment branding and cross functional initiatives
  • Triage inquiries and connect employees to the right subject matter expert when necessary
  • General administrative work as needed

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred and at least one year of related experience to include internships, ideally in Human Resources or Recruitment
  • Ability to self-prioritize and manage time in a face-paced, high volume, deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to ensure the accuracy of highly detailed and confidential information
  • Customer focused and proactive with excellent follow-up and a sense of urgency
  • Effective Communication skills, both verbally and written
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google email and calendars
  • Positive attitude, able to easily build relationships across multiple functions and business units

Qualifications

• 1+ year of recruiting or human resources experience.

  • Excellent organizational skills and customer service skills/orientation.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to build rapport, actively listen and ask pertinent questions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Calendar, Excel, Power point).
  • Experience with HRIS/HRMS and/or ATS systems.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Interest in learning recruitment function.
  • Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred.
