PRIMARY FUNCTION: Gilbane Building Company is seeking a highly-motivated candidate for the position of Marketing Specialist based in our Phoenix, AZ office and collaborating within a virtual Global Sales and Marketing Services Department. The primary responsibility of this fast-paced position includes leading strategic campaign development, digital brand and client-centric focused sales and marketing materials; market sector research; public relations; event management and more. This exciting opportunity requires you to be an independent strong communicator, detail-oriented professional with the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting critical deadlines in a virtual reporting environment.

TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: Marketing Specialist typical responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to the following:

* Lead production and organization of multiple marketing deliverables; balance short-term marketing priorities with long-term MarCom strategies and ensure deadlines are met

* Lead planning and implementation of events such as trade shows, dinners, golf or other charitable activities, open houses, speaking events, etc.

* Write and lead local award applications, specific communications for project and personnel releases, promote regional-specific communications

* Coordination of division events, industry award submissions and campaigns to support awareness of Gilbane in the local markets

* Contribute to the development of strategic content to Gilbane's website and digital communication channels

* Support production of introductory packages, select proposals, presentations and other client submissions as needed

* Regional travel is required (10%) with limited national travel

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

* 3+ years of experience in the A/E/C industry, preferably

* Associates Degree Required, Bachelor's Degree Preferred in Communications, Marketing or English

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

* Strong organizational skills, 'work smart' approach, possess strong attention to detail, and thrive on getting things done

* Technical writing skills to showcase complex case studies for projects and services

* Creative and strategic mindset that seeks ways to enhance client-centric messaging

* Proficiency in desktop publishing, Abode Creative Cloud, Microsoft Office
