WE'RE LOOKING FOR….

The Associate Director of Market Operations must be ready to hustle, inspire, and drive initiatives across our Market Operations team. This leader is motivated by building the future, can dig deep into data and solve operational issues, and is always driving process improvements. We are looking for someone that is strategic, highly operational, and obsessed with empowering senior managers.

SPECIFICALLY, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

This position is responsible for driving alignment and consistency across Market Operations through strategic planning and execution, collaboration with leadership, and leading and mentoring Territory Managers and Market Leaders. This may include:

* Collaborating with leadership, peers, and direct reports to drive meaningful results

* Working cross-functionally with groups company-wide, including Logistics, Product, Inspection Centers, People Operations, and Inside Advocate Operations

* Implementing strategy across multiple HUBs to elevate the customer experience

* Motivating, inspiring, and leading a team of Senior Managers based in various locations

* Formulating strategies and tactical plans that are cost-effective, efficient, and realistic

* Analyzing problems skillfully

* Managing work plans and structured processes for direct reports

* Sustaining a thriving culture that embodies our vision and values

* Supporting leadership in annual business planning, organizational structuring, and staffing

* Partnering with managers in presenting strategic vision and listening to feedback/improvement opportunities

* Other duties as assigned

THE QUALIFYING CANDIDATE MUST HAVE:

This position requires a motivated people leader with an analytical mind and a passion for operations. Required knowledge, skills and abilities include:

* Bachelor's degree required

* Master's degree preferred

* 10+ years of operational experience preferred

* 3+ years of experience managing managers required

* Ability to scale and lead a large operations team

* Ability to influence and consult top executives on strategy

* Excellent organizational and people leadership abilities

* Ability to deliver results in a complex operational environment

* Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

* Excellent communication skills including clear, articulate and confident written and verbal communication, specifically with remote direct reports

* Effective at producing excellent presentations and proposals

* Demonstrated ability in creating and implementing process improvements across multiple business units

* Skilled at business analysis

* Strong project management skills with the ability to balance multiple projects at once

* Experience interviewing and hiring quality candidates at a managerial level for an organization

* Demonstrated ability to implement department-wide and company-wide change

* Willingness to travel (up to 75%)

* Interest in working hard, being challenged in a fast-paced environment, and having fun while doing so

The Associate Director will report to the Director of Market Operations and Expansion and will be a salaried full-time position based in Phoenix, AZ.
