The Chaplain is a full member of the clinical healthcare team, providing services for the spiritual needs and educationof patients, families and team members. The Chaplain is knowledgeable in the areas of Theology, Spirituality and Pastoral Care. The Chaplain is competent to perform spiritual care functions as needed to support the spiritual and emotional health and well-being of those served. The Chaplain III assumes a leadership position, directing chaplains and volunteers, when necessary.
