Hospital Development & Acquisitions Associate

Post Acute Medical is actively seeking a Hospital Development & Acquisitions Associate to join their corporate team. As the Hospital Development & Acquisitions Associate, you will actively manage enterprise-wide mergers and acquisitions (M&A), joint ventures (JV), and other value-enhancing corporate initiatives, with oversight from the Executive Vice President and Senior Development Officer.

As the Hospital Development & Acquisitions Associate, you will be responsible for:

* Identifying and evaluating potential M&A, JV, and growth opportunities, assisting in the development of acquisition strategies, and participating in closing transactions for your assigned territory

* Communicating financial information and complex strategic issues in a clear, concise and relevant manner to assist and guide decision-makers in corporate finance transactions

* Performing due diligence and financial analysis on potential acquisitions

* Performing and maintaining market analysis of industry peers and competitors

* Participating in negotiation of terms and structuring

* Leading and managing transaction due diligence efforts and processes

* Creating and maintaining transaction valuation/projection models

* Creating and maintaining detailed financial projections for new market/product opportunities

As the Hospital Development & Acquisitions Associate, you should have:

* A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with emphasis in Finance or Accounting or equivalent experience. Advanced Degree Preferred.

* 2+ years of professional experience working in healthcare development and acquisitions

* A proven ability to analyze and synthesize information in a timely manner

* An understanding of government-financed health care services (Medicaid, Medicare, etc.) and government procurement processes

* The ability to read, understand, and interpret financial statements and projections

* Excellent financial modeling and valuation skills

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate vertically and horizontally throughout the organization

* The ability to organize and effectively manage multiple concurrent projects
