Reporting tothe Senior Associate Athletics Director for External Operations, the AssistantAthletics Director of Ticket Operations, will be the primary administrator of the Athletic Ticket Office(operations) and be responsible for leading, planning, and directing theexecution of all aspects of ticket operations, distribution, and delivery. Asthe primary administrator, the individual will be responsible for the setupmanagement and maintenance of all ticketing operations within the Ticketmaster(Archtics) and Paciolan ticketing systems for Temple Athletics (packagesinclude full season tickets, partial season tickets, group tickets, corporatetickets, special packages, single-game tickets as well as databaseadministration).

This position supervises a full-time Assistant Box OfficeManager, a graduate extern, and student employees/game-day staff. Inaddition, this position provides support for the IMGL ticket staff ensuringaccuracy of ticket transactions, coordination of group sales, inventorymanagement, and reconciliation of monthly sales. This position facilitates theprocessing and fulfillment of season tickets working closely with the printingvendor to ensure timely delivery of football, men's basketball and women'sbasketball tickets.

This role represents the Athletics Ticket Office at all homesporting events and select away sporting events, while providing excellentcustomer service. In addition, this position coordinates ticketing forall football and men's basketball away games and postseason events workingclosely with the Temple Owl Club to allocate seating in conjunction with theirpriority points program. The individual will work closely with various internalconstituencies (President's Office, Alumni Relations, University Development)to fulfill any special ticket requests and is the primary contact to coordinatecomplimentary admission for the student-athlete and coaches complimentarytickets for men's basketball and football adhering to NCAA requirements.

The position maintains internal controls to ensure properaccounting procedures; generating reports with supporting documentationrelative to sales, revenue, and inventory; maintaining accurate bookkeepingdocuments and deposits all ticket receipts; and handling reconciliationsduring/after the season.

TheAssistant Athletics Director of Ticket Operations position is responsiblefor driving a continuous process of improving in ticket operations, whileadopting new technologies as appropriate. This role works with otheroffices within the Athletics Department and the University topromote sales and attendance as well as ensure compliance with allUniversity, State, AAC, and NCAA regulations. The AssistantAthletics Director of Ticket Operations also performs other duties asassigned.

RequiredEducation & Experience:

Bachelor'sdegree. At least three years of post-undergraduate experience in ticketoperations preferably in collegiate athletics. Previous background with Paciolanand/or Ticketmaster Archtics ticket software. An equivalent combination ofeducation and experience may be considered.

* Demonstratedcompetence with the Microsoft Office package.

* Ability tomanage several tasks and/or projects simultaneously, to process day-to-daytransactions in an accurate and timely manner.

* Strongorganizational skills, interpersonal skills, and a commitment to customerservice.

* Demonstratea proven track record in sales and building quality relationships.

* Ability towork flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

* Must beable to lift up to 50 lbs.

* Strongintegrity and character who shares a commitment for knowing and complying withNCAA, Conference and University rules.


* Master'sDegree.

* Proficiencywith Adobe Photoshop software.
