An entry level support position to assist office staff and prosecuting attorneys within the criminal justice system. Position offers work opportunity to participate in judicial office processes and court settings. Work environment is team focused environment and offers staff support and feedback to employees. Work days are Monday through Friday. Monthly rate of pay is $1,935.09, annualized at $23, 221.08. Employment provides paid leave (through earned accruals), paid holidays, optional health and other insurance benefits and State of Florida retirement plan options.

Essential duties of this position are, but not limited to: producing Word documents, scheduling appointments, document management, travel arrangements and some courtroom attendance. The essential duties of this position also require keyboarding, data entry, professional phone / writing skills/ organizational skills, professional interaction with the public/ law enforcement and staff, and other duties including clerical tasks as needed. This position will require the employee to perform various repetitive actions in the use of keyboards and phones, and requires repetitive sitting, bending, some pushing/lifting up to 10 lbs, with some reaching overhead and filing documents, some for extended periods. Applicant must have ability to professionally accept training and direction. Regular job attendance and punctuality is required.

Applicants will be required to take and pass a Keyboarding and Skills Test on site with this employer, OR at an EMPLOY FLORIDA Career Center. Minimum required keyboarding speed: 50 correct (net) words/minute (on 5 minute test); and minimum required Skills Test Score: 80% correct (at employer's office, with one hour limit test) to be considered for an interview. Applicants must pass a background check. Hired individuals will be required to have proof of identity, and proof of US citizenship OR legal right to work in the United States.
