Deskside Support - January 2019

For one of our clients we are looking for a Deskside Support


  • End User Desktop support through Global IT ticket system

  • Workplace setup, including mounting monitors and docking stations

  • Supporting AV / Conference rooms

  • Support and manage mobile phones & inventory

  • New Hire and PC refresh machine builds using MDT image system

  • Conduct New Hire orientation training

  • Asset administration and inventory: check / refurbish / reimage / proactive support assets

  • Retire / e-waste old hardware

  • NER monitoring and patching

  • Supervising 3rd party vendors

  • Procurement duties

Required skills/experience:

  • University degree or equivalent

  • Must be a MS Windows expert with end user support experience

  • 5+ years’ experience

  • Positive Attitude

  • Ability to solve complex problems

  • Willingness to learn new things and willingness to learn from mistakes

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • User application experience in a PC and mobile environment

  • Good all round user support in an global office environment

  • Be familiar with a ticketing system for user requests

  • Fluent English speaker, German language a plus

  • Have great personable skills and a good communicator

  • Someone who is helpful with a can do attitude

  • Always willing to learn new things and willing to learn from their mistakes
