The Business Development department at Back Market is in charge of sourcing the offer available on our platforms in Europe and the US by recruiting and managing relationship with merchants worldwide. Within the department, the Project team develops and scales new tools, products & services aiming at increasing the current offer, improving merchants’ satisfaction and accompanying their growth. By participating to B2B innovation, your work will have a considerable impact on Back Market’s development. It includes those exciting tasks:

  • Handle project management and operational coordination;
  • Define project scope, timeline and impacts, and set KPIs to define the future performance of the project;
  • Onboard and negotiate with project stakeholders;
  • Write technical specs and follow developments with our IT & Product team;
  • Launch projects and ensure a strong adoption by training teams & merchants and communicating efficiently to all the stakeholders;
  • Report and steer associated performances.

Profile

  • Top Engineering or Business School in your country
  • Fluency in English and French, other languages are appreciated (Spanish, German, Italian, …)
  • A 2-year minimum experience as a consultant or as a project manager in a high-growth start-up
  • Previous experience working with developers/product owners and writing tech specs
  • Excellent business sense, negotiations skills and ability to create team dynamics with people you don’t have any hierarchical link with
  • Autonomous, able to prioritize, initiative-driven, doer, scaler
