Job Description

Part Time Accounts Receivable Coordinator Position:

Responsible for maintaining group master account billing for groups that have held a function at the Resort. Handle billing questions on the phone from guests and meeting planners. Attend pre-convention meetings and set-up arriving group accounts in the computer system. Should be well versed in all duties of the Accounts Receivable office and able to assist the Lead Accounts Receivable Clerk when needed.

* Responsible for maintaining group master account billing for groups that have held a function at the Resort.

* Handle billing questions on the phone from guests and meeting planners.

* Attend pre-convention meetings and set-up arriving group accounts in the computer system.

* Assist in all duties of the Accounts Receivable office.

* Maintain Accounts Receivable paperwork and filing.

* Research and make adjustments to all problem accounts. Contact guests/customers when necessary.

* Monitor office supplies and reorder if necessary.

* Assist with employee and member billing.

* Maintain a clean office and work environment.

* Handle any other reasonable requests by management.

Qualifications

* Previous hotel experience preferred

* High school diploma or equivalent

* Prior receivables and/or accounting experience preferred.

* Must be proficient in Excel, Outlook and other general computer skills

* Must be able to communicate with internal and external guests

* Ability to prepare statistical reports.

* Ability to handle, control and resolve difficult situations with strong problem solving and analytical skills.
