Job Description

The Senior Global Finance Learning and Development Manager will drive the development and execution of our early career programs including the New Graduate Development Rotation Program, internship programs and early identification programs. This role will also focus on Leadership development for our finance employees and people leaders across the globe.

The Sr. Global Manager, Finance Talent Development will develop and execute the following initiatives/strategies:

Early Career Initiatives:

* Manage and drive Varian's early career rotation programs strategy focused on building future leaders from initiation through delivery. Program initiatives include onboarding, rotation solicitation and placement (domestic and international), performance management, training and development, etc.

* Provide ongoing coaching, training and education to rotation managers and to People leaders within Finance

* Deliver best in class internship experience including intern orientation, training and development, social events and intern summit.

* Execute the onboarding, learning and development strategy for new college graduates entering the organization to assist with transition from college to corporate, driving engagement, and mobility.

Leadership Development Initiatives:

* Work with key stakeholders and with broader L&D team to define and implement a cohesive approach to learning and talent systems, programs, and initiatives that utilize cutting- edge, blended learning methods and leverage technology and learning systems that are effective and compatible with company

* Work with key stakeholder's design and implement end to end talent development solutions that include the evaluation, design, and delivery of manager development, leadership development, high impact learning programs, and career development for Finance

* Continue to seek out new ways to enhance programs and its value to the business

* Corporate Training Champion: Serves as champion between corporate L&D and Finance to establish common standards, best practices, policies and procedures.

Job Requirements

* 7+ years of University Recruiting, Talent Management or other HR related experience

* Passion for growing and developing entry level talent

* Strong time and project management, teamwork, execution and organizational skills

* Proven coaching, developing and people management skills

* Ability to interact with all levels of the organization, especially senior level leaders

* Strategic thinker with global mindset
