This new advertising program is part of the fast growing Amazon Advertising organization.

Our vision with Amazon Advertising is to enable advertisers of all sizes with self-service products to build their brand and business, delivering sophisticated automation for novices and powerful controls for expert users. We deliver billions of ad impressions and millions of clicks daily and are breaking fresh ground to create world-class, highly performant advertising solutions.

In this role, you'll build and grow a strong engineering team, lead the technical direction and start with building the foundations for a brand new ad product starting with product definition. This is a complex problem space and ripe for innovation and invention. We want you to think big, be innovative, and build something from the ground up, with the advantage of an established ad tech stack.

Additionally, as a Software Development Manager at Amazon, you will:

· Lead a focused technical team with direct impact on advertiser success

· Dive deep into performance and operational data and work closely with product, business, and engineering teams to develop a compelling vision and roadmap.

· Present technical plans to senior executives and key stakeholders and evangelize that technical vision within Amazon.

· Hire, develop and retain top tier technical talent.

· Drive efficient execution of new initiatives, including collaboration with advertising and partner teams.

· Manage an engineering team responsible for critical high-availability infrastructure and micro-services supporting book advertisers’ specific features.

· Collaborate with scientists to launch best-in-class recommendation models in production

This is a chance to get in on the ground floor of a brand new program within Amazon Advertising. Join the Amazon Business Ads team today, make history and transform our experiences. Our vision is to provide the B2B decision maker more discoverable and relevant options to meet their organization’s various business purchasing goals while providing advertisers more ways to effectively market to and engage these decision makers on and off-Amazon (we define the business decision maker as anyone making a purchasing decision for themselves or on behalf of their business/organization).
