The EMT/Paramedic will be responsible for answering emergency calls and providing direct patient care in a variety of environments. They are responsible for monitoring the patient's condition, responding with the appropriate care and
documenting these items. They may be called on to transport patients to and from nursing homes, long term care facilities, etc. and the hospital for testing and care. The EMT/Paramedic will also be responsible for maintaining and restocking the
ambulances.
Weekends Rotate
Must hold current certification as EMT-Paramedic through Texas Department of State Health Services. Must possess valid Texas driver's license and have a safe driving record. Must have current BLS certification. Must be able to lift very heavy
loads (>150 lbs) frequently and for brief duration.
