The Commercial Relationship Manager is responsible for growing and managing a portfolio of Commercial Business customers, as well as identifying and addressing cross-sell opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* The Community;

* Visible face and voice of Limestone Bank in the local market.

* Community participation to build network of prospective client business development.

* Accountable to meet annual budget goals for production, portfolio maintenance, delinquency, fees collected and loan losses.

* Accountable to interview loan applicants applying for commercial and real estate secured loans to identify applicant's business, needs, desires, abilities, and earnings to determine whether a loan may be an acceptable risk.

* Accountable to provide superior customer service consisting of, but not limited to, solving customers' financial needs, resolve customer problems and requests, ensure timely follow-up and execute new product sales.

* Accountable for appropriate business development activity including potential new customers as well as increasing or retaining existing business.

* Accountable to ensure the collection of proper credit information for customer loan requests in order to underwrite the loan request in compliance with bank standards. Proper credit information includes, but is not limited to, personal and business financial statements, tax returns, building leases, rent rolls, sales contracts, etc.

* Accountable to ensure that borrower loan files are up to date and monitored periodically. Continuous tracking and collection of financial information as well as current circumstances of customer is the only way to completely monitor the health of the loan portfolio.

* Accountable to ensure an understanding regarding the purpose of loans and to ensure that loans are properly structured within bank standards. Accountable to review credit files to ensure information is current and consistent with original loan presentations.

* Accountable to make decisions on loans and terms within assigned lending limits or make recommendations to management and / or Loan Committee as needed.

* Accountable to ensure that Commercial Loan Presentations are created for loans being reviewed by Loan Committee. This information would consist of documents substantiating the credit worthiness of customers with supporting financial and project reports.

* Accountable to ensure that presentations are made to Loan Committee and the Board of Directors for loan approval when required.

* Accountable to call and collect delinquent accounts within the assigned loan portfolio. Also, accountable to ensure that collection and workout settlement efforts are properly coordinated among the appropriate staff of the Bank.

* Accountable to prepare and maintain action plans on delinquent and watch list customers.

* Provides bank-wide functional direction regarding compliance with FDIC, federal and state laws and regulations.

* Works with loan processors regarding the processing of commercial loans.

* Accountable to administer the lending and management function in a professional manner upholding the high quality standards of Limestone Bank.

* Accountable to provide assistance and direction in duties, tasks, projects, etc. assigned which may arise on an ad hoc basis.

* Accountable to develop a rapport and work in conjunction with the Limestone Bank EVP Senior Banking Officer. The Limestone Bank EVP Senior Banking Officer will serve as your coach, mentor, advisor and underwriting resource to provide the expertise, guidance, and lending knowledge direction required to ensure that all Limestone Bank lending and underwriting policy, procedures, regulations and guidelines are followed and satisfied.

REQUIREMENTS

Education & Experience:

* Bachelor's Degree required. Degree in Business, Finance or Management preferred.

* Minimum of 3 years of Commercial Lending experience required.

* NMLS registration required.

Competencies:

* Knowledge of regulation, documentation, policies and procedures relating to commercial and commercial real estate lending.

* Underwriting knowledge, from origination to loan closing and construction draws.

* Strong consultative sales skills. Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and listening).

* Detail-oriented and well-organized.

* Ability to handle multiple priorities and produce results.

* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

* Ability to handle frequent changes.

* Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to the institution's privacy policies.

* Creative / innovative problem solver.

* High level of integrity.

* Proficient with PC applications including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. Also, proficient with Bank loan information systems.
