Spearhead process improvement and efficiency gains through improvedprocess documentation, elimination of errors, and assisting in the eliminationof non-value added activity. Work withmanufacturing engineering to resolve quality and work flow issues utilizinglean application tools.


* Work with supervisors, group leads, technicians, quality engineers, and manufacturing engineers to resolve manufacturing issues.

* Work with Manufacturing Team to make improvements in workstation, line layout and material flow processes utilizing Lean tools.

* Analyzes and evaluates manufacturing methods and standards, provide solutions to problems that adversely affect cost, operator safety, productivity and quality.

* Perform complete time studies to resolve workflow issues.

* Develops, modifies, maintains, and audits process documentation and procedure instructions utilizing Pro Process or equivalent.

* Technical writing / proofreading.

* Work in a safe & healthy manner, strictly following all safety rules and regulations.

* Perform other duties as assigned.


* 3-5 years manufacturing experience required.

* Strong oral and written communication and math skills required.

* Must have good attendance and safety records.

* Must be very process orientated.

* AS400, Mapics Browser, Excel, Word, Pro-E/Cad, Autocad and/or Pro-Planner.

* Must be able to read and comprehend blueprints, processes and procedures.

* Highly motivated, organized, and self-directed.

* High school diploma, or equivalent, required.
