Qualifications:

Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner:Graduate of a Masters of Nursing program. Successful completion of certification. Current licensure in the state of Iowa as an Advanced Practice Nurse. Demonstrated competency as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner through previous experience is preferred.

Physician Assistant: Graduate of a CAHEA approved Physician Assistant training program is required. Successful completion of certification. Current licensure in the state of Iowa as a Physician Assistant. Demonstrated competency as a Physician Assistant through previous experience is preferred.

Special Skills: Board eligible or certified Mitchell County Regional Health Center privileges including ACLS, ATLS & BLS

FTE Status:0.9 FTE

Shift: Hours will be Friday 8am-Monday 8am covering clinic and ER.

A Midlevel Provider is an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) or a Physician Assistant (PA) in the Mitchell County Regional Health Center Physician Hospital Organization (PHO) who provides quality patient care in the outpatient setting, Emergency Department, and outlying communities. The ARNP works collaboratively with primary care physicians, and the PA works under the supervision of approved physicians. The duties of the Midlevel Provider cannot be rigidly defined, but the following description characterizes common expectations of the position. The primary responsibilities may not be interpreted to prohibit functions not specifically identified.
