Program Assistant

Responsible for making sure all visitors and phone calls to the Psychology Advising Center are kindly received and correctly responded to, or routed to the appropriate office. Respond to general inquiries or route to another office as appropriate.

Coordinate Undergraduate Teaching Assistants, and make sure they have completed the FERPA training. Process ePAFs for undergraduate volunteers

Maintain an electronic student tracking system so that we can effectively manage the Peer Advisors schedules and efficiently meet the needs of the students we serve.

Maintain electronic equipment in the Psychology Advising Center (computers, monitors, printers, copier, and

phones) place service calls when necessary.

Maintain and order office supplies for the Psychology Advising Center.

Other clerical duties as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications

A high school diploma and four years of appropriate experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience. If minimum requirements of the position do not require post high school education, an applicant is not required to provide the information on the application.

Additional Minimum Requirements Preferences

Strong customer service and communication skills. Experience with Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel. Experience working at UCF in Advising
