NorthropGrumman Mission Systems (NGMS) sector is seeking a Mission Assurance(MA) Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will belocated in Orlando, Florida.

The Mission AssuranceEngineer will ensure compliance with all Mission Assurance related contractualrequirements, and sector/division policies and procedures, while contributingto the program's effective process implementation.

Taskswill include:

* Provides technical solutions which supportQuality Management System (QMS) functions on Department of Defense (DOD) andInternational software and hardware engineering, development, test,integration, and production programs. Utilize customer, NGMS policies andprocedures, and International Specifications such as AS9100 and CMMI, to helprealize those solutions.

* Ensures Mission and Quality Assurance supportthroughout the full program life cycle and development, review, delivery, andmaintenance for program SDRL and CDRL deliverables, internal plans, risk-basedprocess audits, proposal bids and software processes and artifacts.

* Works with the MA team and program managementteam to define, gather, evaluate, and effectively present process and qualitymetrics to assist with program efficiency, effectiveness, and continuousimprovement.

* Create and provide internal quality reports andmetrics

* The successful candidate will have anunderstanding of software quality assurance principles, the discipline toenforce them, and will possess strong communication skills and the ability towork closely and effectively with program personnel.

This position may be filled at a level 3 or a level 4.

MAQEA

Basic Qualifications for a Level 3:

* Bachelor'sDegree in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Quality Assurance,Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent STEM degree

* 5 years of related experience in supporting systems engineering, systemsintegration, software engineering, software development, software testprocesses, software quality or program management (3 years related experiencewith Masters; 0 years related experience with PhD).

* Abilityto interact with key program personnel to assess and evaluate programcompliance with key quality program processes and specifications, particularlyin the area of software processes.

* Abilityto coordinate/collaborate with external quality teams in data gathering,problem solving, risk mitigation, and root cause corrective action.

* Hands-onexperience developing or reviewing plans and processes associated with AS9100and/or CMMI

* Experienceperforming trend analysis, using internal and external supplied data, tosupport production tracking and opportunity improvement.

* Experienceperforming root cause analysis. Attention to detail coupled with the ability toquickly learn, assess, and apply new processes/procedures.

* Solidwritten and verbal interpersonal, communication skills and confidence to briefsenior management.

* Mustcurrently hold or be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Basic Qualifications for a Level 4:

* Bachelor'sDegree in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Quality Assurance,Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent STEM degree

* 9 years of related experience in supporting systems engineering, systemsintegration, software engineering, software development, software testprocesses, software quality or program management (7 years related experiencewith Masters; 4 years related experience with PhD).

* Abilityto interact with key program personnel to assess and evaluate programcompliance with key quality program processes and specifications, particularlyin the area of software processes.

* Abilityto coordinate/collaborate with external quality teams in data gathering,problem solving, risk mitigation, and root cause corrective action.

* Hands-onexperience developing or reviewing plans and processes associated with AS9100and/or CMMI

Preferred Qualifications for a Level 3 anda Level 4:

* Previoussoftware experience in the following computer languages C, C , C#, and Java

* Agileand Waterfall methodology familiarity, software development, systemsengineering and Cyber Security experience

* AdvancedExcel, Access or Minitab experience

* SixSigma Green Belt trained/certified

* Experienceperforming Risk Based Process Evaluations.

* Knowledgeof statistical analysis methods and techniques
