The Security Employees of Andy Frain Services are a vital part of the Orlando Venues facilities (Amway Center, Citrus Bowl). Employees fill multiple security roles by playing an integral part of the venue needs including establishing working relationships with clients and local police and fire departments.

* Demonstrate and abide by Andy Frain Services Core Values and the operating principles set forth, while maintaining 100% compliance with all staff training.

* Observe and report activities and incidents providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.

* Possess and maintain a professional image and demonstrate strong leadership skills.

* Maintain a working knowledge of all emergency policies, procedures and regulations; respond immediately to emergency alarms or calls for help, determine course of action, notify appropriate authorities and assist as needed.

* Control access to designated areas.

* Work closely and establish working relationship with law enforcement agency and facilities personnel.

* Monitor crowd behavior and maintain/restore crowd control throughout venue.

* Secure assigned post locations.

* Resolve incidents to successful conclusion.

* Be diligent and vigilant in security and safety awareness.

* Develop and recommend new procedures and approaches to safety and loss prevention based on reports of incidents, accidents, and other relevant information.

* Be proactive in obtaining information in regards to post orders, revisions, and daily event needs, (i.e. parking list, and access changes).

* Implement security/safety improvements that benefit the company's assets, visitors, tenants, and employees as directed.


The following are the minimum qualifications which an individual needs in order to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of this position. Please note that the minimum qualifications may vary based upon the department size and/or geographic location.

* Minimum 18 years of age.

* High School diploma (or GED) preferred

* Ability to work independently and remain flexible.

* Must be able to understand and communicate in conversational English and follow verbal and written directions.

* Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including long nights, early mornings, weekends and holidays as needed.

* Successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screening.

* Adhere to uniform standards at all times.

* Reliable transportation

* Valid Class "D" Security License/temporary (blue) card


* CPR and First Aid Certification a plus.

* Security, military or law enforcement experience preferred

* Bi-lingual skills are an asset.

* While performing the essential functions of the position, employees will frequently stand and walk for long periods of time and climb stairs, twist and bend, use hands to handle objects, tools or controls, reach and lift up to 25 lbs.

* Employee will also use close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

* Employees may also be stationed at different elevations/heights to perform functions of post. Reasonable accommodations may be made to allow differently-abled individuals to perform the essential functions of the job.

* The essential functions of this position are performed both indoors and outdoors in the weather conditions prevalent at that time.

* The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.


* Part-time/on-call position

* Hours will vary and are based on event scheduling; there is no guarantee of minimum hours per week.

* Schedules will include nights and weekends and may occasionally include early mornings and holidays as needed.

* Every effort will be made to accommodate scheduling requests; however black-out dates will require attendance from all employees.


* Part-time hourly, non-exempt, based on events scheduled.
