Outside Sales Territory Manager

ALMACO is currently seeking an Outside Sales Territory Manager.

You must have prior success selling top of the line, high-end high-ticket technical equipment or custom-engineered solutions to top management in an ever-changing market. You are a sales performer with a proven track record of overcoming resistance, finding and closing new business. You listen and ask questions with ease, develop strong relationships early, and would describe your selling style as consultative. You must possess the patience to endure a six- to twelve-month sales cycle or longer, yet be impatient enough to shorten it by eliminating potential obstacles.

You are motivated in a collaborative and creative sales environment where you help craft one-of-a-kind solutions to technical problems. You're equally at home and comfortable with field operators, engineers, and owners. You must work well independently without need for supervision, be a self-starter, accept coaching, and be held accountable to the agreed-upon goals. We need you to earn at least $100,000 and be willing to travel up to 75% of the time in a large territory.

Experience with agricultural equipment, construction equipment, or other heavy machinery, research, and farming helpful but not necessary. Experience with seed research a plus.


The territory for this position is the Midwest / Mid-South area from Texas to Minnesota. The Territory Manager must live in one of the following states:

  • The Midwest (IA, MN, MO, WI, ND, SD, NE, KS)
  • The Mid-South (CO, NM, TX, OK, AR, LA)

Territory Managers will primarily travel within their assigned territory but could also travel anywhere in the United States if there is a client need.
