In this role, you will be responsible for supporting department Vice President, Directors, and Managers in daily activities required to assemble, review and maintain data to support continued growth and investments by Garmin’s Aviation Business Segment. The Senior Aviation Business Analyst will encompass daily interaction with various departments internally and will implement structure and business processes for Garmin’s Global Aviation business. Other duties include managing monthly, quarterly, and yearly business forecasts, competitive product and program analysis, tracking and metrics, and participating in strategic business reviews.

Other essential functions include:

Assemble, review and maintain required cost and pricing analysis pertaining to Aviation Segment competitors.Implement structure and business processes to better assist senior leadership with high level decision making.Develop customer-specific modeling based on market data

Develop key metrics and tracking solutions for analysis and reporting

Prepare various scenarios to understand non-recurring and/or internal costs, programmatic needs, deferred revenues or other analysis to be used in customer discussions

Support various stakeholders in the preparation and alignment of internal forecasts, estimates and strategic initiatives.Manage monthly, quarterly, yearly and long-term planning tools to facilitate management review and direction

Analyze market trends, including relevant product and performance metrics or third-party market insight, to assemble industry overview for internal stakeholders

Cultivate successful internal and external customer relationships that focus on mutual benefit, maximizing partnership/content potential, and driving to consistently exceed customer expectations Act as a voice of Garmin Aviation and provide input to other internal departments to promote advocacy of the Aviation segment’s continued success

Support Aviation Business leadership with development of internal commercial analysis, comparison tools, ongoing cost analysis and provide input toward proposed recommendations for future business investments

Analyze and develop reports on sales, products and services Collect and compile competitive and market intelligence

Develop well-organized and informative product presentations and business proposals

Remain current with regard to changes in policies, procedures and product offerings and continually expand personal technical, system and competitive product knowledge

Assist with special projects as assigned Plan, organize, and execute successful internal and external meetings and other events as assigned

Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or Marketing from an accredited four-year college or university or a field relevant and a minimum of 5 years experience in a role substantially similar to the essential functions of this job.

Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Must possess demonstrated analytical skills to critically evaluate information gathered Superior organizational and analytical skills with keen attention to detail and quality – must take great pride in the work you product

Particular emphasis and expertise using Microsoft Office, specifically Word, PowerPoint, Excel and OutlookProven track record in successfully executing projects of any scale or complexity Private Pilot’s license, Instrument Rating a plus

General understanding of the Aviation competitive landscape, products, systems and services
