Senior Prevention Program Manager - Org-Faith Family

About the Position: The individual selected for this position will work in the Prevention Division Central Office located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, for the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health & Substance Abuse Services. This position will work under the general supervision of the Sr. Director of Prevention Services, develop, and manage the day-to-day operation of designated statewide prevention initiatives (including the Organizations, Faith, and Family partnership prevention services), develop and manage sub-recipient contracts, ensure program requirements are met, develop funding proposals and reports, and supervise staff. The incumbent will ensure compliance with the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health Services and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) standards and best practice requirements in managing and delivering care in programs.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

Master's degree in public health, social work, psychology, or a related field and five years of program management experience or any related experience to include two years of supervisory experience and one-year budget oversight experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience building and managing complex initiatives involving Public and Business/Organization, Faith and Family sectors’ collaborations preferred.

NOTE: No substitution for bachelor’s degree or the required two years of supervisory experience and one-year budget oversight experience.

Special Requirements:

  • Applicants must be willing and able to fulfill any job-related travel normally associated with this position and as such have a valid driver’s license
