OVERVIEW: Northrop Grumman is seeking a Manager of Programs 3 to lead the GBSD Program's Reentry Systems sub-IPT, supporting the Flight Systems Segment during GBSD TMRR program execution.

JOB DUTIES: This Manager of Programs 3 position has the following duties and responsibilities:

* Directs, leads and manages all aspects of Reentry Systems technical, cost and schedule performance.

* Acts as the Subcontractor Manager Team lead, and as such, provides technical direction, oversees cost and schedule performance, and participates in subcontractor negotiations and contract changes.

* Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract.

* Acts as primary customer contact for GBSD Reentry Systems program activities, leading program review sessions with both internal and external customers.

* Establishes design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration and test. Develops new business or expands the product lines with the customer.

* Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications.

* Directs the work of employees assigned to the sub-IPT from technical, program and administrative areas.

* Bachelor's degree in a related field and 14 years of related experience, or a Master's degree with 12 years

* Management experience leading a larger, technical and complex program effort.

* U.S. Citizenship with an Active Top Secret Clearance or higher.


* ICBM Reentry System experience

* Prior management experience with ICBM programs

* Preferred candidate will be a proven leader; problem solver; possess a strong work ethic; and have excellent communications and interpersonal skills required to work closely with teammates, stakeholders and both internal and external customers.

* Familiarity with Northrop Grumman project execution, processes and procedures.

* Active SSBI highly desired.
