Position Requirements: Ability to read and write well enough to draft, edit, type and proofread correspondence, reports, forms, etc., at a level normally acquired through a high school education. Excellent typing skills in order to complete typing assignments quickly and accurately, normally acquired through a typing course during or after high school. One year secretarial experience. Familiarity with medical terminology preferred. Written and oral communication skills, telephone and interpersonal skills, organizational abilities. Ability to operate following equipment: computer, photocopy machine, fax machine, typewriter, word processor, telephone, and other standard office equipment.HS diploma or equivalent required.

Position Responsibilities: Provides secretarial support to the nursing office and the Department of Nursing.
