Overall scope of role:

A key member of the Lifescience Dynamics market access practice leadership team, leading on strategy, driving new and existing client revenue, business planning and decision-making. Committed to developing and delivering executable project outcomes to meet specific objectives of our global clients. Account director with responsibility for building positive, long-term relationships with both new & existing key clients and through business development, contributing to the short and long term financial growth of the business.

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Member of the Market Access Senior Team, creating, contributing & guiding the overall strategy of the Market Access, Pricing and Reimbursement practice area
  2. Key client account director, leading client acquisitions, locates opportunities to expand current client base, retentions, repeat business, upselling, cross-selling and foster lasting relationships with client base
  3. Work closely with the head of the market access practice to develop a comprehensive sales plan to build pipeline, close deals and to expand existing customer accounts and deployments. Develop, close and oversee pilot programs and ensure win-win relationships
  4. Understanding clients’ strategic needs, beyond immediate projects, and ensuring that we help the client address those needs
  5. Actively contributing to business development and preparation of complex and business critical proposals and pitches
  6. Using personal networks and professional reputation as a leader to attract, inspire and develop high performing individuals and teams.
  7. Significant contributor to the buildout of the market access practice by leading key internal initiatives
  8. Recruits, grooms, trains, and retains key talent
  9. Serves as a line manager responsible for talent growth of 5+ employees
  10. Leads the teams to enhance the quality of our deliverables to meet ever changing client expectations
  11. Providing problem solving leadership and expert perspective, guiding multiple teams and projects
  12. Representing the business externally and displaying thought leadership in at least one of our core disciplines, including speaking at conferences
  13. Building credibility and respect with key decision makers and influencers within our industry

Key Skills/Personal Qualities:

Technical Skills:

  1. Minimum 7 years of recent and direct market access consulting experience (hunting for new clients, growing existing client relationships, writing proposals, actively delivering market access projects, able to develop and apply strategy frameworks and insights directly on projects)
  2. Has a very strong understanding of the US market access landscape
  3. Ability to individually generate sales of $1M USD
  4. Proven ability to lead 4-6 market access projects simultaneously and execute ~25 projects annually
  5. Previously held director-equivalent role at a reputable market access consultancy, including managing teams of 5+
  6. Ability to communicate clearly and articulately both verbally and in writing at senior level
  7. Track record of leading and developing talent
  8. Masters or higher degree (MPH, PharmD, PhD, MBA) in a life science subject from a leading university and/or relevant experience in biopharma, healthcare or consulting.
