HR Business Partner

Connatix, the next generation video platform for publishers, is looking for an experienced HR Director to support our NY office. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is energized by the media landscape, excited to bring creative solutions to a growing organization, and thrives working both independently, and as part of a team. The HR Director will own a broad range of people initiatives, strategy, and program implementation. In this role, you will develop and execute communication strategies, internal policies, and innovative programs that promote employee retention, headcount growth, and internal thought leadership. This includes both hands-on and strategic level tasks, from focusing on recruitment, development of internal and external culture branding, and collaborating with the broader team on thought leadership and coaching.

Responsibilities:


  • Lead organizational strategies for the business including strategic planning, visioning, organization planning, talent assessment, change management, and team building

  • Preparation and use of key HR data to measure success including analyzing trends and developing proactive actions to further support business objectives

  • Provide metrics, data analysis, and reporting solutions based on business needs

  • Manage and facilitate the year end Annual Review Process

  • Partner closely with international HR partners on global strategy and execution

  • Supporting employee relations issues as needed

  • Design and facilitate team and offsite meetings as needed

  • Lead and provide creative solutions to strengthen the management team and enable the organization to perform effectively together

  • Ensure all employees have clear defined measurable expectations for their roles, including career paths for all employees, and personal KPIs

  • Develop on-boarding and training programs for all teams to support them through the on-boarding process, initial 12 months, and future years

  • Focus on recruitment for NY office, ensuring the yearly hiring plan is fulfilled and kept on-pace

  • Work to refine company core values, culture, HR messaging, and HR branding

  • Ensure that HR operational plans and talent strategies are aligned with business priorities and goals

Requirements:


  • 5 years experience in an HR Business Partner or equivalent role

  • BA/BS degree in HR or a related field

  • Maintains current knowledge of employment laws, practices and programs in the US and associated cultural awareness

  • Demonstrates solid judgment and experience assessing risk relative to the business

  • Effective communication and critical thinking skills applied at all levels of the organization

  • Demonstrates empathy and experience driving diversity & inclusion strategies

  • Ability to lead in a constantly changing environment and to cultivate relationships across teams

  • Experience using data to identify insights that drive action

  • Demonstrates experience influencing and strategically solve problems

  • Expert consulting, coaching and facilitation skills

  • Established expertise in various HR functional areas; talent acquisition, employee relations, engagement, change management, learning and development, compensation, benefits, data and people analytics and organizational design.

  • Comfortable working with ambiguous situations and advising on best practice for grey areas

  • Prior experience in a fast paced environment

  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
