Program Director, Campaign Events and Stewardship

The Special Events & Stewardship unit strives to enhance the overall donor experience through events, personalized communications, impact reporting, public recognition, gifts of appreciation, and Notre Dame experiences. These events and experiences are often hosted by Executive Officers and other University leadership, and are typically initiated in partnership with fundraisers. Such events/experiences encourage deepened donor relationships and engagement. The Program Director serves the lead strategic partner to the Campaign Administration unit, and is charged with planning and executing the Weekends with the President and Weekends with Notre Dame Leadership (typically six such events annually). This position assists with the hosting of the campaign cabinet, and will be involved with additional campaign events such as celebrations, regional events and more. In addition, this position assists with multiple other University and Development experiences, including Commencement and Dedications. This individual leads some events while supporting others. Duties and Responsibilities: * Lead the planning and execution of Campaign cultivation events, including Weekends with the President, and Leadership Weekends. A typical year will include two fall campaign event and 4-5 spring events, comprised of one Leadership Weekend, two fly-outs, three fly-ins. * Lead the events and activities associated with the Campaign Events. * Plan and execute University-wide and Development events either as a lead, co-lead or other supporting role. Events include, but are not limited to Commencement, Dedications, and other recognition events. * Serve as the lead strategic partner with the Campaign Administration unit and manage the work of one assistant director.
