FactSet's Product Development department is responsible for building and designing new products and enhancing existing ones. The mission of the department is to deliver simple, world-class solutions by collaborating with clients to understand their needs, with cross-functional project teams to share those insights, and with Sales to bring our solutions to market.

The Analytics group develops applications and solutions which facilitate tasks for portfolio managers, risk analysts, and performance analysts. Group members have strong financial backgrounds and understand the workflow of each of these investment professional types.

You will be playing an integral role on the Product Development team collaboratively working on the development and crafting of FactSet applications. You will be spending time on the leading edge, collaborating with clients and translating their needs into workflows that optimize performance and understanding of the applications.


* Help support Analytics applications by working on enhancement requests, answering questions, and troubleshooting bugs

* Identify and respond to client demand for new initiatives and enhancements to analytics solutions

* Work with the design teams to develop application features resourcefully and creatively

* Develop specifications to translate the business needs into tasks for Engineering

* Work with engineers and QA to fix bugs, test enhancements, and manage releases and client migrations

* Work with Knowledge Management team to help write documentation as well as internal and external client communications

* Work with the Quality Assurance team to help ensure the ongoing quality of the product

Job Requirements

* Bachelor's Degree with 0-3 years of experience in technology (management information systems, business, finance or economics focus preferred)

* Leadership, Analytical, quarterbacking projects

* Strong organizational, communication, troubleshooting and finance skills

* High level of motivation

* Sound decision making ability

* Basic knowledge of Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

* Prior experience with the FactSet platform

* CFA designation (or working toward)

* CIPM designation (or working toward)

* CAIA designation (or working toward)
