Responsibilities

* Performs startup and calibration of machine

* Sets up machine in accordance with product/customer specification

* Operates machine and monitors operation; makes adjustments as need be

* Periodic programming during operation and launching pre-loaded programs

* Verify machining recipes

* Manually slides and flip doors when need be

* Performs quality checks in accordance with MOST-1 quality standards

* Performs general maintenance on machine

* Constant communication with Machining Center support team

* Follow safety and process procedure

* Other duties as assigned by supervisor/management

Qualifications

* Education: High School Diploma or GED

* Experience: 3+ years machining experience

* Certifications/Licenses: Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) and forklift

* Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

* Ability to use hand tools; tape measure, caliper, corner chisel, hammer

* Ability to operate CNC machines with mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

* Knowledge of production schedules, tickets, door types, sizes and species

* High level of math skill/aptitude; change fractions and decimals

* Proficient computer skills with ability to pick up new programs quickly; AX experience a plus

* Excellent communication, organization and paperwork skills

* High level of responsibility and concentration

* Work independently with minimal supervision

* Must have high attention to detail and quality
