As a key business partner, the HR Director will provide strategic direction to build upon our high-performance culture. This role will be fully accountable for the effective implementation of HR-related processes, practices, policies, and outcomes. As a dynamic, high energy, results-oriented leader, the Director will lead through the effective execution of programs and initiatives in talent acquisition, diversity and inclusion, performance management, talent management and development, total rewards and recognition, training, change management, organization effectiveness and culture.

As a member of the Diabetes HR Leadership Team and the Global Diabetes Leadership Team, this role is an integral link between executive leadership and the broader Diabetes organization. You will partner with leaders to maximize achievement of business goals and objectives, employee engagement, inclusion, diversity and culture.

A Day in the Life

* Designs, implements and executes human resources strategies for business unit and functional groups.

* Partners with senior leaders and business operations to ensure a complete understanding of business needs and objectives

* Proactively resolves HR and business issues

* Promote enterprise excellence and the establishment of operating mechanisms that drive prioritization, clarity around decision ownership, reduce redundancies and increase efficiencies

* Provides solutions through organizational effectiveness and employee life cycle management.

* Anticipates and plans for long-term human resource needs and trends in partnership with business leadership.

* Responsible for and/or serves as a HR liaison in key projects.

* Partners with HR Centers of Expertise and Regional HR teams to accomplish common functional and organizational goals.

* Promote "group first" behavior and be a champion of engagement, inclusion, innovation and culture.

Must Have – Minimum Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree and 10+years of progressive experience in the HR field or Advanced Degree and 8+ years of progressive experience in the HR field

* Previous HR leadership roles

* HR Business Partner/Generalist experience in change management, organization design and development, employee relations, compensation and benefits, employment, and employee training and development.

Nice to Have:

* Advance HR Degree or MBA with HR specialization

* HR strategy development and execution experience

* Experience navigating a global, matrix management structure.

* medical device or related healthcare industry experience

* High sense of urgency and comfortable with a high growth, rapid change environment
